Soaking in a bathtub is psychologically soothing. But it has physical benefits too. Bath milks are a special category that can be especially medicinal. They are antibacterial and reduce itching, so they’re great for eczema, chickenpox, hives, sunburn, or rashes. And they feel luxurious and silky on your skin. Before the milk bath, you should rinse your body in the shower or prepare your skin with a scrub, we suggest you use our “Ritual of Ayuverda ” body scrub. Light a candle and play some relaxing music. It is better if the water is warm rather than hot – about 36°C. Add about 4 tablespoons of milk to the bath. We take a bath for 15–20 minutes, relaxing. If the water is hot (39 ° C and above) – no more than 5 minutes. You can add dried flowers for visual enjoyment – for example, roses on a milky surface. A complete relaxation procedure like in a spa: body scrub + milk bath + body oil.
